User Centered Design
Summary:
This assignment was the culmination of the entire semester. We were tasked with finding a site that we felt was poorly designed or could use some work. Throughout the semester, we learned how to conduct and analyze user and usability research. At the end of the semester, we compiled all of the research and testing and created a summary of major issues.
Reflection
In creating this presentation, I learned how to design and execute qualitative and quantitative user testing. I used methods such as proctored user interviews, heuristic testing, and competitive analysis. Throughout this process, I learned how to collect and analyze user data and develop actionable recommendations. This skill of analysis and research will help inform my choices if I were to pursue a career in UX writing or design.
